Unfortunately, like most medical treatments there are no guarantees about whether scalp cooling will be effective for you. Therefore, we cannot issue a refund due to hair loss. There are a number of factors that can impact the amount of hair loss including drug regimen, age, hair care, medications, metabolic disorders and other medical conditions. Even if you have had significant hair loss, we do encourage patients to continue scalp cooling to help preserve the hair follicle, provide faster regrowth, and minimize risk of permanent hair loss. Many patients do see regrowth while still on chemotherapy or soon after completing treatment. Before you decide to discontinue treatment, you are encouraged to contact the DigniCap Patient Support Center to discuss your specific circumstances at support@dignicap.com.
